The hotel is small, and you get to know the staff personally. They mostly speak French but you can get by with some English (It seems better to speak to them in French however). The rooms are nice and well decorated and the staff are very friendly. It is also located just off the Avenue de la Grande Armee, close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. It just takes about a 10 minute walk to get there.

The location was great. We were very close to the Arc, and great shopping. The Metro was around the corner, too.
The day manager was grumpy and never smiled. The night frenchman was pleasant. No remote for tv. No elevator and we had a 4th floor room. Also have to leave the key at the front desk before leaving everytime.

Its presentation - striking period charm. - reception area, spiral staircase and rooms. Its quiet location and 2 minute walk to Champs Elysee (Arc Triomphe) Excellent buffet breakfast. Easy access to from Charles De Gaulle via Air France Bus service (Walk from bus stop) Owners and staff who spoke little English were courteous and warmed to you speaking French. Wouldn't hesitate to choose this little ripper again.
Squeaky Floorboards (everywhere you walked)

The location of the hotel is superb and although very close to the Arc De Triomphe, it does not have a traditional tourist feel.

Amazing location within easy reach of a metro and main tourist hotspots. Nice clean and quiet area felt very safe. Hotel was very parisan and the staff were very friendly. I would now always book this hotel, the cost is excellent too.
A lift would have made the hotel perfect but is an old building so fully understandable that it doesnt have one. Just walking up 5 flights of stairs to our room after a long day exploring the city did tire my legs.

The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. Have stayed in many hotels around this area and room is what is to be expected for a 70 euro rate per night in the 17th Arrondisement - very simple, but perfectly adequate for someone just interested in a great location. Room was always thoroughly cleaned each morning. Hotel is literally 50 metres from the metro station Argentine. Wifi easily accessed.

This quirky little hotel is fully French in every way. Simple, but adequate; it is clean with very small and charming rooms. No elevator, but well-noted. The location is superb.

The geographical situation - within a stone's throw of the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro.
The fact that it had no lift.

The location was good-close to main city attractions and transport.
The hotel is old world style which is nice, but perhaps needed some upgrading in certain areas. The carpets had a musty smell and cleaning could be better.

Quiet location with charming decor, near a Metro stop.
This area is primarily businesses and residential and lacks the quaint charm of other Paris neighborhoods.

Very nice small hotel in a good location in Paris with very friendly and helpful staff.
Can be a little bit noisy, wooden floors creek a bit, but not too bad.

Really nice rooms, good service.
They made us pay 20 euros more, than was stated on the Booked.net

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent.
The bed in our room was very old and very short which made it uncomfortable for my husband. The daily room clean up was not very good. The bed was poorly made and often the dirty towels that were on the floor were left there.

The staff were outstanding and the facility was very pleasant. I was impressed with the selections available for the petit dejeuner.
I was on the main floor, so could not safely open my window at night. If it had been hot, that would have been a problem.
